A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle near a railway track in the southwestern Pakistani city of Quetta, killing at least 23 people and wounding more than 70 others. According to officials, the blast occurred on Sunday as a passenger train was traveling through the area.[1][2]
The force of the explosion caused two of the train cars to overturn and catch fire. Footage of the incident shared online showed thick black smoke rising into the air from the scene.[1]
