Smarsh launches AI platform for compliance data
Smarsh has expanded its Communications Intelligence Platform by introducing a new Model Context Protocol Server and conversational AI capabilities.

Digital communications data and intelligence provider Smarsh has announced a major expansion of its Communications Intelligence Platform. Based in Portland, Oregon, the company unveiled new capabilities designed to create a structural shift in how regulated industries access and act on their communications data.[1][2]
The platform update introduces a new Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server along with AskSmarsh AI, a dedicated conversational artificial intelligence intelligence layer. In addition to these tools, the launch incorporates expanded agentic capabilities to advance how organizations manage communications data after two decades of conventional compliance technology.[1][2]
