Global payment network provider Thunes announced a major expansion of its Direct Global Network across the Middle East from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Sept. 14, 2026. The expansion introduces cross-border payout services into six regional markets, substantially strengthening the company's payment infrastructure across the region.[1][2][3]
The rollout covers the Kingdom of Bahrain, Lebanon, the Sultanate of Oman, South Yemen, Syria, and the United Arab Emirates. Through this expansion, Members of Thunes' Direct Global Network can now process international payouts into these countries with increased speed and transparency.[1][2][3]
