ACST Launches MP-MCP, Giving Churches a Secure Way to Use AI with Their MinistryPlatform Data

ACST has announced the upcoming general availability of MP-MCP, a secure AI gateway designed to connect MinistryPlatform data to AI assistants such as Claude. Rather than operating as a standalone chatbot or a new product that churches must log into separately, MP-MCP functions as a connector and gateway that enables external AI tools to read MinistryPlatform data.[1][3][4]

The new gateway is built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), which is an open standard for connecting AI assistants to software. This open standard is backed by major industry players, including Anthropic and OpenAI, providing a secure framework for churches to utilize artificial intelligence with their existing data.[1][3][4]

How to start an AI for business leaders, executives program

While executives do not need to become machine learning engineers, they need to know enough to lead an AI transformation. That includes sufficient knowledge to determine which opportunities merit investment, identify emerging risks , evaluate vendors' claims and guide employees through significant changes in how they work. That creates a challenge for CIOs and other senior leaders evaluating executive AI training programs. Some emphasize AI strategy, while others focus on governance, organizational change or practical implementation. The best choice depends on the leader's role, the organization's maturity and the business problems the executive
