A former Air Canada pilot has been accused of flying for 17 years without the correct license. According to police, the pilot was discovered to have flown with forged credentials ever since he was promoted to the position of captain in 2009. As a result of the discovery, he now faces several fraud-related charges.[1][2]
The former airline captain allegedly commanded more than 900 flights without the required credentials. Authorities revealed the discrepancy after discovering the forged documents, ending a 17-year period during which he allegedly operated commercial flights without proper licensing.[1][2]
