Air Products San Fu has secured a long-term agreement to build and operate four air separation plants to support Taiwan's growing semiconductor and AI sectors

Industrial gas supplier Air Products San Fu has secured a long-term agreement to support the expansion of a semiconductor manufacturer in Taiwan. The parent company, Air Products, announced the new investment on July 22, 2026, noting that the project is designed to support next-generation facility expansions. The agreement will involve supplying multiple new semiconductor fabs as well as back-end packaging facilities.[1][2]
The expansion project is aimed at meeting the rapidly growing demand for semiconductor technology, which is currently being driven by advancements in artificial intelligence and high-performance computing. To fulfill the terms of the agreement, Air Products San Fu will build, own, and operate four large state-of-the-art air separation plants. This development is expected to reinforce the company's established position as a key supplier to Taiwan's electronics industry.[1][2]
Air Products, which is traded under the ticker NYSE: APD, is recognized as a world-leading industrial gases company. Through Air Products San Fu, the company has maintained a continuous presence in the Taiwanese market, serving local industries for more than 70 years. This latest long-term agreement represents a continuation of that long-standing relationship and commitment to the region's technology sector.[1][2]
