Apple Adds Android Devices to Trade-In List and Raises Values

Apple has officially expanded its device trade-in program by adding newly eligible Android devices to its trade-in list. Alongside the expansion to include additional competitor hardware, Apple has also increased the trade-in values associated with select Apple devices, offering consumers updated credit options when trading in older electronics toward the purchase of new equipment.[1][2]

These program adjustments come at a challenging time for consumers shopping for new technology. Market conditions such as "RAMageddon" are driving up device costs while making products harder to find. To counter these industry headwinds and motivate consumers to buy new tech more frequently, companies like Apple are introducing updated trade-in incentives and tactics designed to attract buyers.[1]
