BeyondTrust Launches PathfinderAI for AI-Native Identity Security Operations

BeyondTrust, a leader in privilege-centric identity security, announced the launch of PathfinderAI on April 27, 2026, in Atlanta. This new capability is designed to power AI-native identity security operations within the existing BeyondTrust Pathfinder platform. The tool is intended to help security analysts investigate complex identity risks, relationships, and privileges across both hybrid and cloud environments.[1][2]

A key feature of PathfinderAI is its support for natural-language queries, which allows analysts to identify hidden access paths and potential vulnerabilities more efficiently. By integrating these AI capabilities natively, BeyondTrust aims to meet organizations at various stages of their identity security journey, providing tools that simplify the management of privileged access and identity-related threats.[1][2]

In addition to PathfinderAI, the company introduced the BeyondTrust MCP Server. This server acts as a secure bridge, allowing third-party AI agents such as Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI, and Claude to connect directly to BeyondTrust’s portfolio. This connection enables these external agents to access and utilize privilege-centric identity security intelligence, further extending the reach of the company's security insights.[1][2]

Both PathfinderAI and the MCP Server are currently available to customers in early access. These releases represent a significant step in BeyondTrust's strategy to protect what it calls Paths to Privilege. By offering these AI-driven tools, the company seeks to provide more comprehensive visibility and control over identity security operations in increasingly complex digital infrastructures.[1][2]
