DiJonai Carrington Ejected for Foul on Sophie Cunningham, Posts 'White Privilege'
Chicago Sky player DiJonai Carrington was ejected for a Flagrant 2 foul on Indiana Fever's Sophie Cunningham and subsequently posted 'WHITE PRIVILEGE' on social media.

Chicago Sky player DiJonai Carrington was ejected during Saturday's game against the Indiana Fever after committing a Flagrant 2 foul against Sophie Cunningham. The incident took place in the first quarter while Cunningham was shooting a fast-break layup. Carrington came from behind and hit Cunningham in the head and neck, causing her to fall to the court as her shot went through the basket.[1][2]
Only minutes after her ejection, Carrington made a post on social media stating the words "WHITE PRIVILEGE" and tagged the Indiana Fever. Cunningham is white, and Carrington is Black.[1][2]
The matchup also included additional penalty action later in the game involving Indiana star Caitlin Clark. Clark was assessed her eighth technical foul of the season during the contest, a penalty that triggers an automatic suspension for the Indiana Fever's next game.[1]
