Chinese startup Moonshot AI has officially launched Kimi K3, which it describes as its most capable frontier model to date. The company claims that the new model is capable of rivaling some of the most advanced artificial intelligence models currently offered by US-based competitors Anthropic and OpenAI. According to Moonshot AI, Kimi K3 is a 2.8 trillion-parameter model that features a 1-million-token context window. The startup announced that Kimi K3 is the world's first open 3T-class model.
