Officials in Russia-occupied Crimea have suspended civilian gasoline sales as Ukraine increases attacks on fuel supplies. The suspension was put into effect on Sunday as Ukrainian forces ramped up their targeting of fuel infrastructure across the Black Sea peninsula.[1][2]
The announcement of the suspension follows leadership decisions under Governor Sergey Aksyonov, who serves as the Kremlin-appointed head of the occupied region.[2]
