The FBI has announced a $200,000 reward for information that leads to the capture and prosecution of Monica Elfriede Witt. Witt is a former counterintelligence specialist for the United States Air Force who is currently wanted on espionage charges.[1][2][3]

Federal authorities allege that Witt defected to Iran in 2013. Following her alleged defection, she is accused of revealing classified information to the Tehran government and acting as a spy for Iran.[1][2]

The FBI is actively seeking assistance to locate the former military specialist. In a public appeal regarding the reward, officials urged individuals to help apprehend Witt and bring her to justice.[2][3]
