Highlights From the 2026 ACM Awards: Little Big Town, Ella Langley and More

The 2026 Academy of Country Music Awards took place on Sunday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The annual ceremony honored the best artists and releases in the country music genre, featuring a mix of live performances, emotional tributes, and major award presentations.[4][5]

Among the notable moments of the evening was a live performance by Little Big Town. The country music group used the Las Vegas awards stage to officially debut their brand new single, "Hey There Sunshine," for the arena audience.[5]

Ella Langley was a major winner at the event, securing a total of five awards during the Sunday broadcast. Langley, who attended the ceremony wearing a white corset gown, won the Song of the Year award for her track "Choosin' Texas." In addition to her multiple victories, she also took the stage to perform her song "Be Her."[1][2]

The 2026 ceremony also carved out time for an emotional tribute segment organized as part of the ACM Lifting Lives initiative. Lauren Alaina, an alum of the television series "American Idol," introduced the special performance. Country duo Dan + Shay then took the stage to perform their song "Say So" in order to remember and honor Ben Vaughn.[3]
