How CM Fellowship scheme drives governance, development in UP
The program recruits highly qualified professionals, including PhDs and MBAs, to help Uttar Pradesh achieve its developmental goals and build a trillion-dollar economy

The Chief Minister's Fellowship scheme in Uttar Pradesh is playing a key role in driving governance and accelerating development across the region. By attracting highly qualified young professionals, including those holding PhDs, MTech degrees, and MBAs, the initiative is helping the government meet its governance objectives and boost economic growth. These individuals, known as Chief Minister’s Fellows, are actively engaged in supporting the state's development goals and helping the government reach its aims.[1][2]
Under this initiative, a cohort of 500 young professionals is deployed to assist with various governance and development tasks. Their work is closely aligned with Uttar Pradesh's strategic ambition of building a trillion-dollar economy. To ensure the scheme's effectiveness, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is personally monitoring their progress. He has already held three online interactions with the fellows to review the work they are executing on the ground as they work toward these development targets.[1][2]
