In der WHO-Europaregion ist die Zahl der voellig ungeimpften Kinder im vergangenen Jahr gesunken. Dennoch bleibt die Situation besorgniserregend, da die Zahl derjenigen, die keinen oder keinen vollstaendigen Impfschutz gegen Infektionskrankheiten besitzen, nach wie vor gross ist.[1][2]
