Israel Intercepts Turkish-Led Aid Flotilla Bound for Gaza
The Israeli Navy intercepted multiple vessels from the Global Sumud Flotilla in international waters as the Turkish-led mission attempted to sail to Gaza.

On Monday, the Prime Minister's Office confirmed that the Israeli Navy started intercepting a Turkish-led attempt to sail to the shores of Gaza. The naval operation targeted a mission described as a humanitarian aid flotilla, preventing the ships from reaching their destination.[2]
During the operation, Israeli forces intercepted multiple vessels associated with the Gaza-bound mission, which is known as the Global Sumud Flotilla. The interception of these ships was carried out by the military while the vessels were navigating through international waters.[1]
The Turkish-led humanitarian aid flotilla had been attempting to reach the shores of Gaza before the Israeli Navy intervened. The confirmation from the Prime Minister's Office marked the official acknowledgment of the interception of the multiple vessels.[1][2]
