Israeli military forces conducted a series of airstrikes across southern Lebanon on Friday, leading to the deaths of at least 10 individuals. These operations represent a significant continuation of hostilities between Israel and the militant group Hezbollah, which have persisted despite a ceasefire agreement that was officially established on April 17. The strikes targeted multiple locations in the southern region as tensions remain high along the border, with both sides continuing to exchange fire and maintain their military posture despite the diplomatic efforts to halt the fighting.[1][2]

In a separate engagement, a drone launched by Hezbollah successfully targeted and wounded two Israeli soldiers. This escalation follows weeks of intermittent violence that has displaced residents and caused significant damage to civilian infrastructure throughout the border areas. In the city of Tyre, the human cost of the conflict was evidenced by 75-year-old resident Em Ali Khodor, who was seen inspecting her apartment. Her home had been hit by an Israeli airstrike several weeks ago, highlighting the ongoing destruction faced by civilians living in the crossfire of the two forces.[1][2]
