James Murdoch to acquire New York Magazine and Vox Media Podcast Network

James Murdoch has agreed to acquire New York Magazine, Vox, and the Vox Media Podcast Network. The transaction is valued at more than $300 million, granting Murdoch control over the storied publication and the media company's dedicated podcast division.[1][2]
Following the completion of the deal, the existing Vox Media organization will be split into two distinct operations. Current Vox Media Chief Executive Officer Jim Bankoff will transition to lead the newly acquired titles. In parallel, Vox Media President Ryan Pauley will assume oversight of the remaining titles left within the original company portfolio.[1]
