K-Beauty Goes Global: Sales Surge 53% as Korean Innovation Reshapes Beauty Growth

Korean beauty has emerged as a rapidly expanding segment in the global beauty market, with value sales surging 53% year-over-year. According to a new report titled K-Beauty Goes Global, released by consumer intelligence firm NIQ, the sector has also experienced a massive 131% growth in value sales over the past two years.[1][2]

The findings point to a broader transformation in how the beauty industry scales on a global level. NIQ attributes this rapid expansion to a combination of regional innovation, social commerce, and digitally driven consumer demand, which are increasingly shaping the international beauty landscape.[1][2]
