Elon Musk's SpaceX is in talks to provide the U.S. Department of Defense with access to data center capacity to run artificial intelligence models, according to a report by the Wall Street Journal on Friday. The potential agreement, which is worth billions of dollars, was disclosed by people familiar with the matter.[1][2]
The Wall Street Journal report further noted that SpaceX employees have already discussed plans for the initiative, which would supply the Pentagon with the necessary computing power.[2]
