NTT DATA Group Appoints Kazuhiko Nakayama as New President and Chief Executive Officer

Tokyo-based NTT DATA Group, which operates as a global leader in artificial intelligence, digital business, and technology services, has announced an upcoming change in its top corporate leadership. The company's Board of Directors has formally approved the appointment of Kazuhiko Nakayama as the new President and Chief Executive Officer of the group. This major leadership transition is scheduled to officially take effect on June 12, 2026.[1][2]
Nakayama will succeed Yutaka Sasaki, the former President and Chief Executive Officer of NTT DATA Group. Following this transition, Sasaki is slated to remain within the broader corporate structure, assuming the role of Senior Executive Vice President of NTT, Inc. Sasaki's new executive appointment at NTT, Inc. is scheduled to become effective on June 18, just days after Nakayama officially takes over the chief executive role.[1][2]
Before being named as the incoming President and Chief Executive Officer, Nakayama served most recently as the Chief Financial Officer of NTT DATA Group.
