Nvidia and SK Group launch massive AI data center initiative
SK Telecom plans to build a 2-gigawatt AI data center using Nvidia Vera Rubin chips and SK Hynix HBM4 memory, launching in 2027.

Nvidia and SK Group have unveiled an artificial intelligence data center initiative and memory partnership valued at over $500 billion. As part of the initiative, SK Telecom plans to build a 2-gigawatt AI data center.[1][2]
The facility will be powered by Nvidia's Vera Rubin chips and SK Hynix's HBM4 high-bandwidth memory. Nvidia added that the first facility under the partnership is scheduled to come online in 2027.[1][2]
