Nvidia to Invest $5 Billion in Ilya Sutskever's AI Startup
Nvidia is taking a $5 billion equity stake in Safe Superintelligence, an AI startup co-founded by former OpenAI chief scientist Ilya Sutskever.

Nvidia will make a $5 billion equity investment in Safe Superintelligence as part of a strategic partnership between the chipmaker and the startup, according to a person briefed on the deal. The artificial intelligence firm was co-founded by Ilya Sutskever, who previously served as the chief scientist at OpenAI.[1][2]
The strategic partnership links the major chip producer directly with Sutskever's new venture. The $5 billion investment agreement was reported out of San Francisco as part of the alliance between Nvidia and Safe Superintelligence.[1][2]
