Oil prices rose on Friday as investors remained uncertain about the prospects of a breakthrough in ongoing negotiations between the United States and Iran, despite signs of limited diplomatic progress. During the session, the global benchmark Brent crude climbed 1.6 percent to trade at more than $104 a barrel.[1]
Despite the gains at the end of the week, the global oil market remained on course to record an overall weekly decline.[2]
