Pirelli to remain sole F1 tyre supplier through 2028
The FIA has exercised an option to extend its contract with the Italian tyre manufacturer by one year, keeping Pirelli as the sport's exclusive supplier.

Pirelli is set to remain the exclusive tyre supplier for Formula One through the 2028 season. The governing body of the sport, the FIA, announced on Thursday that a mutual agreement had been reached among all parties to extend the partnership.[1][2]
According to the FIA, the extension was granted by exercising a one-year option on the current contract with the Italian manufacturer. The existing agreement between Pirelli and Formula One was originally signed in 2023.[2]
