Respond.io Raises $62.5M Series B for North America and Europe Expansion

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — Respond.io, a customer conversation management platform based in Malaysia, has raised $62.5 million in a Series B funding round. The investment round was led by Camber Partners, with participation from Endeavor Catalyst and other existing investors. The company announced that the newly secured capital will be used to fund its expansion into North America and Europe, as well as to pursue mergers and acquisitions within those regions.[1][2][3]

The funding comes during a period of significant financial growth for the company. Respond.io is currently profitable, boasting a 30% profit margin and $35 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR). Additionally, the company has achieved a 169% year-over-year growth rate as it scales its AI-powered customer conversation services.[1]

The platform is built to enable mid-market B2C businesses to grow their revenue by managing high volumes of customer chats and calls. It achieves this by unifying a wide range of communication channels into a single interface, including WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, Messenger, LINE, Telegram, WeChat, voice calls, email, and web chat, in addition to 16 other integrations.[3]
