Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev Says X Account Was Hacked
Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev revealed his X account was compromised after a fraudster socially engineered customer support to post about a memecoin.

Robinhood Chief Executive Officer Vlad Tenev stated on Tuesday that his account on the social media platform X was hacked last week. Following the security breach, the unauthorized user posted fake content promoting a memecoin from Tenev's profile.[1][2]
According to Tenev, the attacker successfully accessed the account by socially engineering X's customer support. This manipulation allowed the fraudster to bypass standard security features, including two-factor authentication (2FA) and login notifications.[2]
