Trump Rejects Iran's Latest Offer to End War

President Trump has rejected Tehran's most recent proposal aimed at ending the ongoing war with the United States and Israel, stating explicitly that he is not satisfied with the terms of the deal. The president indicated that the latest offer from Iran falls short of what would be required to reach a formal agreement between the nations.[1][2]

In his remarks regarding the negotiations, Trump claimed that Iranian leadership is only pursuing a deal at this time because their armed forces have been severely depleted. He asserted that Tehran wants an agreement specifically because they have no military left to continue the conflict.[1][2]

Despite the president's public dissatisfaction with the current terms, diplomatic efforts are continuing through third-party channels. Pakistani mediators have recently passed a revised proposal from Iran to officials in Washington for further review.[2]
