Trump's name is poised to be removed from the Kennedy Center
Workers began removing Donald Trump's name from the Kennedy Center on Saturday morning after a judge rejected a request to pause a court-ordered deadline

Early Saturday morning, a work crew began removing Donald Trump's name from the Kennedy Center. In an effort to block the view of a crowd of spectators watching both in person and online, workers installed a plastic tarp over the work area. Despite the barrier, some photographers were able to look through cracks in the plastic covering to observe the workers as they removed the letters from the building.[1]
The removal went ahead after a series of legal setbacks for those attempting to delay the action. A judge rejected a request to pause a court-ordered Friday deadline to remove references to President Trump from the institution. The institution subsequently appealed the ruling, but that effort was also rebuffed by the court on Friday evening, leaving the Friday deadline in place.[1][2]
