Tulsi Gabbard Resigns as Trump's Intelligence Chief
Tulsi Gabbard is stepping down as director of national intelligence to support her husband through a battle with a rare bone cancer, marking the fourth Cabinet-level exit of Donald Trump's second term.

Tulsi Gabbard has resigned from her post as President Donald Trump's director of national intelligence. According to a White House official who spoke to MS NOW, Gabbard is stepping down to support her husband, who has been diagnosed with and is battling a rare form of bone cancer.[1][2]
The resignation, which took place on Friday, represents the fourth Cabinet-level exit of Trump's second term. In addition to her family situation, Gabbard's departure comes during a period of growing tensions over the Trump administration's Iran policy, where her public testimony had at times diverged from claims made by the president.[1]
