United States-based startup Vector Defense and Saudi-based startup SR2 Defense Systems have entered into a partnership to manufacture combat drones. The two companies plan to design and produce these unmanned aerial vehicles using Iran's Shahed drone system as their model.[1][2]
Executives from the startups disclosed the new partnership to Semafor on Monday. The collaboration represents a joint effort between the American and Saudi Arabian defense firms to develop combat-ready technology inspired by the Iranian platform.[1]
