Visa unveils new AI and stablecoin payment innovations
The payment technology giant introduced new capabilities designed to power secure, programmable commerce

During the Visa Payments Forum 2026, Visa announced the introduction of new artificial intelligence, stablecoin, and token capabilities. According to the company, these innovations are specifically designed to help clients unlock the next generation of commerce. The main objective of these new technologies is to ensure that trust, security, and control can evolve in tandem with increasingly fast, automated, and intelligent commerce experiences.[1][2]
In a keynote presentation at the forum, Jack Forestell, who serves as the Chief Product and Strategy Officer at Visa, discussed the rollout of these capabilities.
