WagerWire secures Gibraltar approval for prediction market expansion

On June 10, 2026, Wire Industries Inc., the parent company of WagerWire, announced that it has received approval in principle in Gibraltar for its prediction market subsidiary, Wire Markets Ltd. This regulatory milestone is designed to position the parent company to establish a regulated international foundation for its prediction market operations, supporting its long-term plans for future expansion into multiple jurisdictions around the world.[1][2]

While prediction markets have only recently captured widespread attention across the industry, WagerWire has spent years building technology-based products. The company's offerings are rooted in market-based participation and price discovery, allowing it to build on its existing technological foundation as it prepares for its next phase of global growth.[1][2]

Gibraltar's regulatory framework has previously welcomed other major initiatives, including granting its first prediction market license to ADI PredictStreet. ADI PredictStreet operates as the Official Prediction Market Partner of the FIFA World Cup 2026 and has also announced partnerships with prominent industry names such as DAZN and Fanatics Markets.[1]

Keir Starmer vows legal action against Belfast rioters

'Full Force Of The Law': British PM Threatens Belfast Anti-Immigration Rioters While Lowe Says 'Millions Must Go' Via Remix News, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has threatened Belfast’s nighttime rioters with the “full force of the law” after they conducted arson attacks on cars and homes on Tuesday night after a brutal video went viral featuring a Sudanese man trying to behead a disabled Scottish victim. “The scenes in Belfast last night were shocking and completely unacceptable. There is no justification for the violence and disorder that we saw threatening our communities, nor for those who encouraged it, online or elsewhere. It is clear that people were targeted last night because of their background and I will not tolerate it. Those responsible will feel the full force of the law
