The donation, made in partnership with the mikeroweWORKS Foundation, aims to support workforce development and training across the state
In an effort to bolster local employment training, Wells Fargo has announced a $1 million donation dedicated to supporting skilled trades, training, and workforce development throughout Pennsylvania. This funding is being directed through the financial institution's ongoing partnership with the mikeroweWORKS Foundation to help expand opportunities across the state.[1][2]
To celebrate the contribution, officials gathered for an event at the Community College of Allegheny County. U.S. Senator Dave McCormick, a Republican from Pennsylvania, was in attendance to show his support for the initiative, where he underscored the vital importance of continued philanthropic investments in regional workforce development.[1]
