A powerful explosion near a railway track in the southwestern Pakistani city of Quetta has killed at least 19 people and left dozens of others injured. According to official reports, the incident occurred on Sunday when a suicide bomber detonated a vehicle filled with explosives.[1][2]
The suicide bomber detonated the explosives-laden vehicle just as a passenger train was passing by the railway track. Officials confirmed that in addition to the nineteen fatalities, more than 70 people sustained wounds from the blast.[1][2]
