Antonelli takes fourth win in a row after Russell retires from Canadian Grand Prix
Mercedes teenager Kimi Antonelli secured his fourth consecutive Formula One victory in Canada after teammate George Russell suffered a power unit failure

Formula One championship leader Kimi Antonelli secured his fourth consecutive victory on Sunday at the Canadian Grand Prix. The Mercedes teenager finished more than 10 seconds ahead of Ferrari's Hamilton, who claimed his second podium finish of the 2026 season.[1][2]
Antonelli's teammate and title rival, George Russell, was forced to retire from the race before the half-distance mark. Russell's exit was caused by a power unit failure, clearing the path for Antonelli's victory.[2]
