Australian actor Eric Bana originally launched his career in the entertainment industry as a stand-up comedian in 1991. He subsequently made his feature film debut in Working Dog's iconic 1997 Australian movie The Castle, in which he played Con Petropoulous, a character who worked as an accountant and practiced as an amateur kickboxer.[1][2]

Decades after its initial screening, the much-loved comedy classic is reportedly set to charm audiences once again as a new stage production. The upcoming theatrical revival of Working Dog's project has prompted discussion over whether Bana might potentially tread the boards for the new adaptation.[1]
